Since the 14th of February 2001 the studio is allowed to propose and distribute reproductions of the Bayeux Tapestry in embroidery kits. In order to continue this tecnique, the studio has created contemporary patterns with woollen thread on linen. The leader of the studio is Chantal James. She acqired her experience and savoir-faire in Bayeux as working for the only existant pedagogical structure teaching the Bayeux stich.

The studio is based on arts and krafts to enable a certain quality as well as to adapt to special orders.

1) The studio can transform any scene of your choice into an embroidery kit. You are welcome to have a look at the presentation of the whole tapestry in our brouchure at your disposition.

You choose your favourite scene by marking it with two points on the zone you'd like to recieve as a kit. After an acceptation of the estimate sent by e-mail or by regular mail, the studio will send you the embroidery kit of your choice.

2) For special occasions (weddings, births, birthdays,etc...) You can create a pattern by yourself, or with help from the studio, and have an original and personal kit made out of this.
